How we work

We are focusing on two main types of tax advice:

 

  • corporate - we're working for our clients to make sure they aren't paying any more tax than is necessary

  • personal - we're providing information, advice and guidance to business key issues our individual clients

Our work is detailed and complex, and we as tax advisers quickly develop our expert knowledge in areas such as:

  • National Insurance

  • trusts and inheritance tax

  • estates

  • VAT.

 

Our clients can include small and medium sized companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.

Our responsibilities

​

We work in compliance, ensuring a client meets all tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns, tax computations and any other necessary forms. 

​

Our typical areas of activity include:

 

  • We explain tax laws to our clients, calculate tax liability and finding ways to minimise their tax liabilities.

 

  • We create tax strategies for our clients and plan their financial futures. 

 

  • We meet with our clients and discuss their financial situation work with tax law and revenue provisions.

  • We gather information and data to calculate the amount of tax due.

 

  • We do research, analyse  and interpret changing tax legislation in both the UK and international.

  • We prepare and submit compliance tax returns by the deadline.

​

  • We negotiate with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on behalf of our clients.

​

  • We provide consultancy services to high value our private clients.

​

  • We produce reports and present for our clients.

​

  • We establish and structur family trusts.

 

  • We provide guidance on indirect taxation issues such as VAT, customs planning and environmental taxes.
